Ineligibility Notices

Potentially Ineligible Voters

Due to Changes in Florida Statute, Senate Bill 7050, Notices of Potential Ineligibility can now be posted on the Supervisor's website.

NOTICE OF REMOVAL OF NAMES OF POTENTIALLY INELIGIBLE VOTERS
In accordance with F.S.  98.075, the names of the individuals listed below are potentially ineligible to be registered to vote. Any person whose name is listed below may contact the Supervisor of Elections office within 30 days of the date of this notice to receive information regarding the basis for the potential ineligibility and the procedure to resolve the matter. Failure to respond within 30 days of the date of this notice may result in a determination of ineligibility by the Supervisor of Elections and removal of the voter’s name from the state-wide voter registration system.
If you attempt to vote at an early voting site or your normal election day polling place, you will be required to vote a provisional ballot. If you vote by mail, your ballot will be treated as a provisional ballot. In either case, your ballot may not be counted until a final determination of eligibility is made. If you wish for your ballot to be counted, you must contact the supervisor of elections office within 2 days after the election and present evidence that you are eligible to vote.
If you deny the accuracy of the inormation underlying the potential ineligibility, you have the right to request a hearing for the purpose of determining eligibility.
If you have questions concerning this notice, you may contact the Okeechobee County Supervisor of Elections.
